Independent reviewer appointed for oversight of the Oranga Tamariki system

The legislation that sets out the functions and rules of the agencies that have oversight of the Oranga Tamariki system will be independently reviewed by MartinJenkins, Ministry of Social Development Acting Deputy Chief Executive Fiona Carter-Giddings said today.

Disability Support Services move to MSD

MSD has welcomed Disability Support Services kaimahi at its national office and in a number of regional centres around the country. Disability Support Services will fully transition to MSD from the Ministry of Disabled People – Whaikaha over the next few months.
